LIVE-IN Female Residential House Manager - Rosa Parks

Nonexempt, Monthly Stipend, Benefits and Free Rent

The Transitional Housing Program is committed to providing single homeless men and women with a stable living environment. Residents are given affordable clean and sober housing, emotional support from other residents, and case management from Compass Housing Alliance staff. The program’s ultimate goal is to help residents make and reach their own goals and to give them the confidence to make life choices that will move them towards greater emotional and economic security.

Position Summary:

Live-in house managers provide daily support in the operation of the transitional home. House managers are responsible for providing a safe and comfortable living environment for up to eight adults.

Counselor – Adult Service Center (ASC)

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing engagement and direct services to homeless adults in a relationship based adult day shelter program. Under the management of the Compass Housing Alliance, the Adult Day Shelter provides a warm, welcoming environment for homeless and low income adults in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle.

Building Specialist – Renton Veterans Center

Position Summary:

Maintain a presence in the reception and lobby area, observe, record and respond as needed to the comings and goings of guests, staff and residents, maintain a safe and comfortable environment for 58 veteran households and responds to tenant issues as appropriate.

Family Advocate – Renton Veterans Center

Position Summary:

Provide trauma informed advocacy to families, including parenting support, children’s and youth groups, and individual sessions.  Maintains the safety and comfort of 58 veteran households and provide cooperative advocacy, planning and coordination of services for veteran families.

Representative Payee Case Manager

Position Summary:

The Representative Payee program is designed to serve recipients of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) who are required by the Social Security Administration to have a payee. The RPCM’s responsibility is to ensure that the recipients’ benefits are used for their health and well-being. As a member of the Client Services Office (CSO) this position staffs a reception window daily, providing a variety of services to clients and greeting other visitors to the agency.

Case Manager – Pioneer Square Men’s Program

Position Summary:

Provide supportive crisis counseling, case management and milieu management. Assess client needs and provide information and referral, and goal setting. Responsible for maintaining the safety and comfort of up to seventy-two residents in transitional shelters facility. Responsible for cooperative case planning and coordination of services for shelter residents.
