THE CHURCH OF STEADFAST LOVE

The Church of Steadfast Love invites you to come and worship

We are a growing bilingual (English/Spanish) congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We worship within the chapel located in the main building of Compass Housing Alliance in Pioneer Square. Our congregation seeks to break down the barriers that separate housed and homeless and to educate about the issues that are related to homelessness.

That which unites us is the Word of God, a Word that convicts us all and drives us to our knees, when we are honest with ourselves about who we are and what we need.

God has created us to be in community. Jesus calls us to love God with all our hearts, souls, strength and minds and our neighbors as ourselves. Come, meet, know, and love your neighbors. We are all one in Christ. Thanks be to God.

The Church of Steadfast Love voted on January 11th after worship to become an Advocating Congregation with the Faith Action Network (FAN).
Interfaith Advocacy Day-Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Olympia, WA. Register now online, or contact FAN for a mail-in registration form (fan@fanwa.org or 206-625-9790). Cost to attend is $20 if you register by January 13, $25 if you register by February 13, and $30 on site. Share this half-page flyer with your faith community!
