The Compass Housing Alliance offers an automated giving program allowing donors to conveniently contribute through electronic funds transfer. You can choose to have your gift deducted from your bank account. You choose either the 5th or 20th of the month – and your donation will be electronically deposited to the Compass Housing Alliance’s bank account the same day. Gifts of appreciated securities or stock can be one of the best and most advantageous ways of giving. If your gift of stock is one you have owned for more than a year, you may deduct the full fair market value of the stock as a charitable contribution, while bypassing all capital gains taxes.
