The Compass Broadview affordable housing development provides new beginnings for homeless and low-income individuals and families. The three-story apartment building includes 59 apartment units comprised of mostly two- and three-bedrooms for individuals and families earning at or below 50 percent and 30 percent of Annual Median Income and people with disabilities. Compass Housing Alliance will provide Compass Broadview residents with opportunities for stability, growth, and belonging through on-site case management, children’s programming such as tutoring, and community building activities, skill-set development opportunities, and much more.
Ideal for families with school-aged children, Compass Broadview is located across the street from Broadview Thompson K-8 school and down the street from the Seattle Public Library’s Broadview branch. Compass Broadview is ideally situated on and close to major bus lines and includes a 24-space underground parking garage.
The building wraps around a common courtyard with a playground and outdoor seating for residents. Inside is a community room and media room for residents, along with office space for case managers and other management staff.

INCOME ELIGIBILITY*
29 units are designated for individuals or families earning
at or below 30% of the King County Area Median Income (AMI). The 30% units are available only via referral from DSHS or YWCA.
29 units are designated for individuals or families earning at or below 50% of the King County AMI.
18 of the 58 units are set aside for families exiting homelessness.
12 of these units are referred through YWCA’s Rapid Rehousing
program. Note: If you are a family exiting homelessness, please contact YWCA immediately to enroll in the Rapid Rehousing
Program, in connection with your application.
11 of the 58 units are set aside for households with a disabled
member. These units are referred through the Department of Social
and Health Services (DSHS). Note: If you are someone with a disability served by the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), please contact DSHS to receive a referral to Compass Broadview.
