Thank you for considering hosting a table at our 2024 Gala, HOMEWARD! With this year’s event, titled “Letters of Love”, we honor the 100+ year legacy of Compass’s mail program, which currently processes over 115,000 pieces of mail annually for people who don’t have a consistent address. Guests will enjoy dinner and cocktails, entertainment, interactive activations, and an opportunity to make meaningful change for the neighbors that Compass Housing Alliance walks alongside on their journey to home.

The Role of a Table Host
Table Hosts are community connectors. They are passionate about the mission of Compass Housing Alliance and want to get their friends and families involved in strengthening our community by supporting our unhoused neighbors. Table Hosts agree to fill a table of 10 guests for the event.
How It Works
There are two ways to participate as a table host at Homeward Gala:
Option 1: Purchase a Full Table of 10 Seats – tables are now sold out!
Purchase a full table of 10 seats and invite friends and family to join you as your guest at the event.
Option 2: Assemble a Table of 10 – tables are now sold out! We do have some partial tables available, please contact Liz (email below). You would purchase your own ticket/s and invite friends and family to join you at by purchasing their own tickets. Let Compass know you plan to host a partial table by emailing Liz at events@compasshousingalliance.org.
FAQs
Am I responsible for raising a certain amount of money from my table guests?
No. Please encourage your guests to contribute an amount that is meaningful to them. During the event on April 20th there will be an opportunity for guests to make a donation by raising their bid card.
Do I need to register my guests?
Yes, we will want to know the name, address, email, phone number, meal selection, and dietary restrictions for all guests who are attending so that we can be prepared for them when they check-in for the event. Once you purchase your table you will receive a link that you will use to register guests at your table, or you can send the link to your guests so that they may complete the registration themselves. Guest lists are due by Friday, April 5, 2024.
What do funds raised at HOMEWARD support?
Homeward will raise funds to provide life-altering services to our neighbors in need and support Compass’ continued work to develop additional services and housing in our community. Through the development and operation of permanent affordable housing with supportive services, expansive 24/7 enhanced shelter programs, and a robust emergency services hub, Compass is helping low-income and unhoused individuals and families in our community end the cycle of homelessness. Through all its programs, Compass touches the lives of thousands of individuals, families, seniors, and Veterans each year.
Can I still support Compass if I cannot attend the event?
Yes! You can make a donation to support our neighbors in need in advance of the event and your gift will contribute to the success of Homeward Gala. Donate here!
