Another amazing example of how our partnerships benefit the people we serve happened when the HEART Team reached out to us about providing some additional COVID-related supplies early this spring.

We are always grateful for the help!

Members of the Seattle & King County’s Health Engagement Action Resource Team (HEART) gifted our Karlstrom Apartments with supplies including air filters, masks, Clorox wipes, a year’s worth of filters, and hand sanitizer. They also helped educate our residents on how to set the filters up and use them effectively.

The HEART Team connects with homeless service providers to provide strategies on infection prevention and COVID-19 mitigation. The team is made up of Public Health Nurses, Community Health Workers, and Environmental Health Specialists working together to support the health, safety, and wellness of people during the pandemic.

“Everything they did for us was a blessing,” said Anthony Williams, our Program Coordinator at Dekko and Karlstrom apartments. “Residents commented about how fresh the air was!”

Thank you for your support, HEART Team!
