Anthony Williams is always thinking about what Compass can do to enrich the lives of the people who choose to live with us at Dekko Place or the Karlstrom Apartments – he is the program manager of both locations.
Recently, he came up with an AQUAmazing adventure – a trip to the Seattle Aquarium.
“Fifteen residents and I walked to the aquarium,” he said. “The best aquarium find was a Spanish-speaking guide! I think that really got our families engaged.”
After learning about crustaceans, seagulls, and octopuses, the group then headed over to parks on the pier and enjoyed the sun.
Anthony and other program staff build stronger relationships with our residents through these small touches and experiences. It is one of the best examples of how Compass works to make all our residents feel that they have a real community and that they are home.
